Welcome to HelB ESL Portal (bahi12.com), an innovative Learning Management System (LMS) dedicated to empowering Moroccan students in their journey to master the English language.

Our Mission

HelB ESL Portal was created to bridge the gap between classroom learning and digital accessibility. Our mission is to provide Moroccan high school students—specifically those in the Common Core, 1st BAC, and 2nd BAC levels—with high-quality, structured, and interactive resources that align perfectly with the national curriculum.

The Team behind bahi12.com

This platform is developed and maintained by the bahi12.com team, a group dedicated to merging pedagogical expertise with modern web technology.

The project is led by Hassan EL BAHI, a professional Teacher of English in Moroccan qualifying high schools. With years of experience in the classroom, Hassan ensures that every lesson, quiz, and video script is educationally sound and tailored to the specific needs of Moroccan learners.

We believe in academic integrity and the power of high-quality resources. The materials hosted on this LMS are developed using a combination of original content and respected educational sources:

Official Textbooks (Moroccan Curriculum): Our units and lesson structures are aligned with the following official Moroccan English textbooks:

• Gateway to English 2 (Nadia Edition) – M. Hammani, A. Ahssen, & K. Tansaoui.

• Ticket to English 2 (Didactika) – M. Hassim, M. Blibi, & A. Eddouch.

• Insights into English – M. Najbi & A. El-Khouri.

Digital & Open-Source Resources:

• Reading & Comprehension: Many of our reading activities are adapted from Breaking News English (Level 2/Easy) by Sean Banville.

• Grammar & Language Reference: Supplementary grammar explanations and listening frameworks are informed by the British Council LearnEnglish standards.

• Technology Stack: Our multimedia content is generated using open-source tools including MoviePy, Piper TTS, and Ollama.
